What a week of learning!  Let's just talk decimals!   Beginning with knowing how many centimeters are in a meter, and how many millimeters are in a centimeter, you are starting to have an understanding of decimals. My first look at your tests is making me feel good!

Take another look at your Buncees, and see if you want to jazz them up any more!  Ask yourself these questions.

Is my message clear?
Is it creative?
Have I edited it for spelling and grammar errors?
Is it ready to be published?

We know what the highlight of the week was, don't we?  Seeing the movie Hidden Figures!  Aside from the fact, that we don't usually go to movies, this was an incredible experience for all of us.  I know that you were shocked to see how African-Americans were treated in 1960 and also how women were treated, in general.  To see the brilliance of these three women, and to see the gradual recognition of it was an emotional experience.  This is a great way for us to begin our Black History Month, as we examine the courage and determination of those who paved the way for women of all cultures.
