If the Try This portion of page 149 is a mystery to you after you work a bit at it, then wait until tomorrow, and we will do it together.  The girls in Study Hall figured it out, but some assistance was given by me!  NO WORRIES or MELTDOWNS!

Don't forget to do the Practice Test in Spelling!

Remember to bring shoebox lids to school for our STEAM DAY!

Valentines and More Valentines

One thing I know for sure...these girls know something about the decades!  Their boxes were so creative and informative....lots of sports heroes, prime ministers, presidents, and hairdos from the 80s, television sets from the 50s, and WWII heroes...it was impressive.  When you combine that with a vocabulary parade and lots and lots and lots of Valentine chocolate, well, you get the picture....fun, learning and a sugar high!

THAT WAS YESTERDAY! THIS IS TODAY.......

Swimmers, runners, basketball players, gymnasts, Frido Kahlo, Cam Newton--that was yesterday,

This is TODAY!


Look at our spirit-filled class.....they are ready for the Cheer Rally to end all Cheer Rallies!

GO GOLD!  GO WHITE!

SSH! We'll let you know how it turns out later!

The Whites were fabulous and won,

but the Golds were great also!

Everyone agreed that this year was the absolute best of all!

It's Red, White, and Blue all over

Patriotism was all over the school today, but especially in our class!  I loved the fact that Lilla brought the American flag.  She was Betsy Ross last year and still had her flag.

Don't forget tomorrow is Arts and Sports Day!  The girls have fabulous plans for their outfits.  I think every sport will be represented and some wonderful artists too.  Athletic clothes and jeans, T-Shirts--we will see it all, but Friday will be the big Spirit Day. They can seriously deck themselves out with their team colors. Bring on the feather boas and face paint!
